New Member Checklist

Congratulation on becoming a member of the Bristol TN/VA Association of REALTORS®!

Getting started can be a little confusing so here is a step-by-step guide to what you need to do next.

STEP 1: MLS

Now that your membership with BTVAR has been established, it's time to get set up at our MLS. Follow the link below to the MLS application. If you have any questions you can contact the Tennessee/ Virginia Regional MLS directly at 423-477-0041 or by email lisahodgemls@gmail.com / monicaberrymls@gmail.com

STEP 2: Profile

Follow the link below to set up your member profile through our infohub. The info hub will allow you to manage your BTVAR membership, pay dues, print receipts, sign up for education/events, edit your directory profile, and much more! We often direct people from the community looking for realtors to our directory page so make sure to update and add all the contact information. Also, we recommend adding a picture to your directory.

STEP 3: State and National Associations

You paid your state and national dues when you became a member with us. This gives you exclusive access to your licensing states forms, benefits, and access to national benefits as well. Follow the links below to get started! You will need your NRDS number (found in your welcome email) for your first-time login.

STEP 4: Required Education

There are local and national education requirements for members that must be met in a timely manner. Follow the links below for more information.

Code of ethics deadline: December 31st, 2021 BTVAR New Member Orientation deadline: Within the first year of membership

STEP 5: Get involved

The committees of BTVAR are what make our organization great. We have such a wonderful group of volunteers that work hard to bring all the necessary services to our membership and really make our Association feel like family.

STEP 6: Communication

We use MailChimp email services to email upcoming events and registration links. Be sure to save the email address info@btvar.com, btvar@btes.tv, and info@btvar.com to avoid newsletters going into the junk mail folder.

Also, visiting your info hub regularly, btvar.com, and following us on social media are great ways to keep up with what is going on at the Association!
