Erin Elise

2027 President-Elect

Erin Elise is a REALTOR® with Path Real Estate LLC, serving buyers and sellers across the Tri-Cities region of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, and licensed in Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina. A Southwest Virginia native with deep local roots, she brings both industry knowledge and community ties to her work.

Erin has been an active contributor to the association, serving three years on the Tennessee/Virginia Regional MLS Board of Directors and two years on the TN REALTORS® Forms Committee. She’s also a 2025 graduate of TN REALTORS® A.R.E.A. leadership program, further preparing her to serve members at the highest level.

Erin is committed to strengthening the association for the members who rely on it every day.

Aaron Taylor

Secretary/Treasurer

Aaron serves on several committees at the state and national levels. He is a Golden RPAC President’s Circle Hall of Fame member. Previously served as TVR MLS President 2025, TN RRC State President 2024, DVP Region 3 for TN Realtors 2019-2021, 2022 NAR Major Investor Council Rep for TN, 2019 TREEF President, 2018 NETAR President.

He has been licensed since 2002 and is a Broker. He and his wife Melissa have 2 boys: Matthew and Andrew.

Aaron is Master GRI, CRS, and a licensed instructor with TREC and TREEF.

Taylor Bettis

Director

I’m a Realtor with a passion for helping people navigate some of life’s biggest transitions. After spending 15 years as a chef, my love for food and bringing people together is still a big part of who I am.

Outside of real estate, I enjoy skiing, exploring the outdoors, cooking for family and friends, and simply finding ways to help the people around me. I believe the best part of what I do is building genuine relationships and making a positive difference in people’s lives.

Growing up in Johnson City and now living in Abingdon, I really feel like I have a great handle on what the Tri-Cities has to offer and I’m glad to be involved with organizations that can enrich our lives as a community and help our community see its full potential.

I’m also on the infrastructure committee for the town of Abingdon.

Cathy Armstrong

Director

I was initially licensed in 1993 and went full-time as a realtor in 1998. I purchased Heritage Homes in 2000 and earned my ABR, CRS, CRB, GRI, SRES and e-Pro. I served as MLS president in 2007, and was on the Board from 2004-2009.

I served as CRS state president in 2012 and regional vice president for CRS from 2013-2017.

I also served as Sullivan County Commissioner representing District 2 from 2008 until 2014. I served on numerous committees including the Animal Shelter, and Executive Committee which I chaired in 2013.

Andrew Cooper

MLS Representative

Originally from Eastern Kentucky, I have proudly called Appalachia home my entire life. After falling in love with the mountain views and community of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee, I settled in Bristol to pursue my passion for real estate.

Beyond serving my clients, I am actively engaged in supporting our local real estate community, currently serving on the BTVAR Education, Leadership Development, and Program Committees.

When I'm not navigating Appalachian real estate, you can usually find me exploring the local mountains or enjoying the region's rich musical heritage.
